Maze Island returns to Dragon City! During this event you collect Maze Coins and spend them to move along paths, unlocking dragons like Elements, Deep Sea, Sea Virago, Hermicrab, Mischievous, Aquaking, Omnivicious and Imp. Each dragon path includes nodes that may require keys and mini‑battles, so planning is essential.

Collecting Maze Coins

• 600 coins every 8 hours: You can earn up to 600 Maze Coins every 8 hours by collecting gold, harvesting food, feeding dragons, and breeding. After hitting the 600‑coin cap the maze icon disappears; wait for the next cycle before collecting again. Log in 3–4 times a day to maximise coins.
• Don’t waste actions: Only perform coin‑producing actions when the maze icon is visible; actions while it’s missing won’t reward coins. Plant short‑term food (e.g. Strawberry or Dragon Bells) and collect gold from high‑income habitats to reach the cap quickly.

Understanding dragon paths

• Keys & locks: many dragons require special keys before you can start their path. Use Ditlep’s Maze Island interface to see which keys are needed and how to obtain them. Plan your route so you don’t waste coins on paths you can’t unlock.
• Battles: some path steps end with a battle. Winning the battle doesn’t cost coins, but losing will subtract coins. Use strong dragons and upgrade their rank before attempting.
• Late‑activated dragons: certain dragons (usually the most desirable) become available later during the event. Save coins until they appear to avoid spending too early.
